Excellence in English (Secondary)
This programme enhances students’ mastery of the English language, while providing exposure to the critical analysis skills needed to tackle the components of the challenging secondary English syllabus. With a strong emphasis on current affairs, real world issues are intricately woven into our curriculum to enhance students’ global mindsets.
Students are given opportunities to read and write a variety of text types. They will also hone their critical thinking skills as they pick up techniques to answer examination questions with clarity and precision. With a dedicated lesson each term focusing on oratorical skills, students will also build their confidence as fluent and articulate communicators.
At the end of the four years, students will gain the neccessary knowledge and confidence to approach any issues and topics that they face in the GCE O Level examinations.
